The Tribute to Bambi Foundation
Tribute to Bambi uses donations to sustainably support selected children's aid projects throughout Germany. The charity event also draws attention to injustices that receive little attention in society: the right of adolescents to a carefree childhood and youth with a home, protection, education, and care.
When Patricia Riekel and Philipp Welte launched Tribute to Bambi in 2001, their vision was to use Germany's most important media award to help children in critical life situations. Since then, the foundation has supported more than 160 non-profit organizations and raised over ten million euros in cash and in-kind donations.

Tribute to Bambi 2021 in Berlin
On October 14, after a two-year pandemic hiatus, the charity event hosted by Burda Verlag took place as a fundraising dinner with 250 guests from society, culture, business, and politics at the TITANIC Chaussee Hotel in Berlin. With the support of prominent figures such as Minister of State Dorothee Bär, journalist Düzen Tekkal, singer Giovanni Zarella and his wife, presenter Jana-Ina, and model Monica Meier-Ivancan, donations were once again collected for the Tribute to Bambi Foundation.

Tribute to Bambi and Gretel
UND GRETEL co-founder Stephanie Dettmann and brand manager Max Franzmann were not the only guests at Tribute to Bambi 2021. In the TITANIC Beauty Lounge, three make-up artists applied makeup to 21 celebrities for the event.
