The trends are as individual as nature itself. Dewy glow contrasts with bold lips. The smoky grunge look alternates with a statement liner look, and yes, they're not only back in the fashion world, but also in makeup: the 80s!

The natural "dewy complexion"
The finish should look dewy—that is, moist. Strong and matte makeup? Not in 2021! And powder on top? What we once laboriously tried to mattify with powder is now a must. The focus is on naturalness with a subtle shine. The complexion can look radiant and dewy.

Bright lips – rich and matte
Now it's time to make a splash. Lips can once again take center stage as a colorful highlight. However, a matte or satin finish is currently the trend. You create the matte finish by first applying TAGAROT Lipstick to your lips and then matte it off with a tissue. Then apply another layer of your favorite color and dab it on top. This not only creates a matte effect but also provides fantastic coverage! And if you prefer an even more matte look, you can add a little of our ILGE Translucent Setting Powder over the lipstick. Simply tap it gently onto your lips with your finger.
This trend is ideal for playing around with lip colors. The combination of warm and cool colors creates a wonderful luminosity on the lips. The cool berry color of LOVE BERRY 07 with the warm antique rose of ROSÈ 01 on top. The sensual, warm red of DAHLIA 03 with the cool and luminous PINK BLOSSOM 05 on top.
The bright lips are complemented by a touch of nothing on the eyes. A touch of concealer and mascara in the natural shade CHESTNUT 01 are all you need. This makes the look easy to wear for everyday wear.
SUMMER GRUNGE
Strawberries, cherries, and an angel kissing spring… like in the song Summer Wine, it's time to get a little grungy and dark. Especially around the eyes. They were never really out of style – but this summer, smoky eyes are being celebrated.
For this look, you can apply a thick layer of our HOLT Eye Pencil in BLACK 01, MOCHA 02, DARK GREY 03, or AUBURN 05 all around the eye, then blend it out using your brush. If you prefer a more natural look, you can use the same technique with our Cream Eye Stick LUK in BRONZE 01. The texture makes blending particularly easy—all you need are your fingers. For a particularly bold look, you can finish by applying TINCTE, our Liquid Eyeliner, to your upper lash line. A light lip color like TAGAROT in APRICOT 02 or our KNUTZEN Lip Gloss in MATTE NUDE 03 or NUDE SHIMMER 07 is a great accompaniment to this look .
You can also create the grunge look on your lips. TAGAROT Lipstick in the shades COPPER 04 or WOOD 06 are particularly suitable for this . For this look, simply dab the lipstick onto your lips with your fingertips – ideally, just beyond the lip line. If you want to wear your lips a little darker, you can dab the berry shade LOVE BERRY 07 over COPPER 04. But here, too, we only want to put the grunge focus on the face. If the lips are emphasized, the eye makeup remains very understated.
It's a STATEMENT EYELINER
