Perfect for
The Blending Brush that opens eyes
For depth in the eyelid crease, color gradients on the upper eyelids, or structuring highlights under the eyebrows: UND GRETEL's Eye Blender Brush, with its subtly rounded shape, distributes and blends colors particularly harmoniously across the eyelid and into each other. It also doubles as a concealer brush when needed: Since every Face Blending Brush from UND GRETEL's vegan tool range is hygienic and easy to wash, the color pigments won't interfere with each other when cleaned properly.
The Eye Blending Brush is a small blender brush with a softly rounded tip for blending all eyeshadows—from IMBE and LUK pencils to the multi-use WONNE versions —with exceptional smoothness. Small, firm, yet fluffy, it blends powdery and creamy pigments on the eyelids, allowing for color gradients without any lines or edges. The shape of this blending brush is even flat enough to smudge the eyeshadow along the lower eyelids, giving the eyes more impact.
Multi-use: The blending brush for concealer
To ensure the blending brush also sets the TUNKAL Concealer, it should be freed of all color pigments and then cleaned. This prevents the concealer's conditioning oils from clumping the fine recycled bristles of the makeup blending brush. To do this, dip only the brush tips in a little shampoo water, massage into a lather, and rinse. Repeat this process until no more color comes out. Then, place the blending brush flat on a clean, absorbent surface to dry—the tips should float freely, not rest on the surface.
Increased awareness – that's the key to any great makeup look. For example, the skin should always be thoroughly cleansed, moisturized, and primed beforehand. After the REINE Deep Cleansing Oil, AMIE Eye Cream is a great option: Apply it around the eyes with tapping movements of your ring finger and allow it to absorb well before applying makeup.
For even better makeup adherence, a touch of ERST Priming Cream and a touch of LIETH Foundation optimize the canvas for the look. Note: As long as your skin still feels oily or moisturized, wait to apply eye makeup.
Step by step: The perfect job of every Eye Blender Brush
-
Brush selection : Eyeshadow often comes with a plastic sponge—a mini brush that usually doesn't last long, can't be cleaned, and eventually becomes plastic waste. This is another reason why all IMBE eyeshadows do not use such brushes. The textures of IMBE and LUK are great for finger application, so a high-quality eye blender brush isn't absolutely necessary. However, a blending brush makes a difference in the final result: Its soft, short bristles allow for seamless blending and excellent shading when multiple colors are part of a look.
-
Eyeshadow selection : When choosing the right shade of IMBE Eye Shadow, your eye color, the occasion, and your personal preferences or makeup ideas all play a role. UND GRETEL's free AI type and color consultation is happy to help you decide on your eyeshadow!
- Applying eyeshadow : The eyeshadow(s) are applied to the eyelid and/or crease with even brush strokes to create a structured 3D effect. The how-to depends on, among other things, the position of the eyes - are they close or wide set on the face? - the depth of the eye socket (which can also be age-related), and also the shape and texture of the eyes. Droopy eyelids are particularly challenging. A tip: to visually lift the eyes, always use darker colors on the outer eyelids and lighter colors on the inner ones. This makes the eye area look more open and slightly lifted.
-
Blending technique : A good blender brush for eye makeup seamlessly blends the colors with gentle circular motions. Work from the crease of the eyelid outward, then apply lighter shades from the center to the outside. Always check your makeup from a distance in a well-lit mirror to ensure a consistent look. Applying light pressure to the blender brush softens harsh edges and gently balances color transitions.
- Layer and play : Makeup is fun! Experimentation is part of the beauty game—which is why additional layers of eyeshadow and other colors for more dramatic looks are always welcome. Playful mixing and blending takes the makeup experience to a new level every time. Have fun.
-
Final touches : Once all the colors are seamlessly blended and the look is complete, the HOLT Kajal eyeliner, the TINCTE liquid eyeliner, and the WINT mascara join forces to add the final perfecting touches.
A tip for longer-lasting look: A little ILGE Translucent Setting Powder ensures your beauty work lasts extra long. Simply dust a touch of the powder onto both eyelids beforehand with the Powder Brush to set the look without losing any of its shine.
