01 CHESTNUT

This shade is a dark, highly pigmented, rich chestnut brown with warm undertones and a matte texture. 01 CHESTNUT tints the lashes dark brown. This mascara shade is particularly great for blondes. But it’s also helpful for anyone who’d like to add a little natural enhancement to their eyelashes. CHESTNUT complements any eye color in a totally natural way.

02 DARKEST BLACK  

This shade is a highly pigmented, luxurious, matte deep black. DARKEST BLACK combines the darkest natural pigments with nourishing ingredients from the natural world. This shade tints the lashes deep black and offers very high coverage. DARKEST BLACK is a classic look that perfectly sets off any eye color. 

03 MIDNIGHT BLUE (COSMOS ORGANIC STANDARD)

MIDNIGHT BLUE 03 is a highly pigmented and matte deep blue, reminiscent of the dark blue sky at night. This subtle blue shade is elegant and makes all eye colors radiant with a blue aura. Blue eyes appear bluer, while gray, green and brown eyes are brought into the spotlight thanks to the blue contrast.

For volume: Place the mascara brush directly at the base of your eyelashes. Apply gentle pressure. Repeat this step once before pulling the wand up and along the lashes to the tips. It's important to apply the right amount of pressure, as this allows the color pigment layering to perform at its best.

For defined lashes: Distribute me evenly along the entire length of your lashes, from base to tip.

Good to know: Don’t apply this product like conventional mascara (i.e. multiple layers immediately one after the other). This would remove the first layer of natural pigments you’ve already applied. If you’d like a more intense result, simply wait a few moments for the mascara to dry before repeating the process.

Mix & Match: Like all UND GRETEL favorites you can mix and layer our WINT Mascara in MIDNIGHT BLUE 03. Depending on the look you're going for, you can combine this shade with our dark brown CHESTNUT 01 or with our deep black DARKEST BLACK 02.

CARNAUBA WAX

is the hardest wax of natural origin. It gives me a gloss finish and the resilience I need to withstand even very high temperatures, something that’s especially beneficial during the summer months.

BEESWAX

is the oldest natural substance used to make ointments. As a natural substance, it is a little firmer than oils. Beeswax forms a thin protective film on the skin that has a soothing, restorative effect on skin irritations or dryness.

SHEA

is a true jack-of-all-trades. The substances contained in shea butter keep the skin elastic and compensate for any lack of moisture.

SUNFLOWER SEEDS

A little seed that packs a big punch! Sunflower seed oil is enriched with a large proportion of linoleic acid – making it lightweight, moisturizing, and easily absorbed.
